Altair is looking for a driven, focused, and high impact Senior Account executive with strong knowledge of banking , financial services and enterprise-wide Data & Analytics technologies. The position offers a great opportunity to build & grow the data & analytics business across the greater china region and contribute significantly to the overall growth of the region. You will have the entrepreneurial opportunity to scope out the BFSI landscape in the region and identify potential growth opportunities along with leveraging our existing relationships in other geographies. This will initially be an individual contributor role, with management and team building responsibilities as opportunities warrant. You will work with a high performance technical team and help customers understand solutions & business value Altair can deliver.


Responsibilities

?Build & deliver targets & growth through a combination of Strategic, Tactical & Transformative Opportunities.
?Understand Transformation initiatives in banks & financial services organizations and map how Altair’s solutions can contribute to those initiatives.
?Sell Altair’s complete portfolio into line of business & Technology divisions in the BFSI space.
?Manage the end-to-end sales process and provide clear visibility on the pipeline.
?Compete & Differentiate with Altair’ Solutions in the Data & Analytics space.
?Identification and development of net new accounts – creates and executes major accounts’ development plan that will ensure consistent quarter on quarter revenue growth.
?Work strategically with pre-sales to identify, create solutions and deliver presentations to multiple personas within a given sales opportunity
?Presentation - creates and performs compelling sales online and onsite presentations to match company’s Solutions with identified needs.
?Negotiation and Closing – Ability to balance company and customer objectives to create “win-win” business relationships.
?Relationship Development – Develops strong internal and external (customer and partner) relationships that foster sales teamwork, productivity and revenue achievement.
?CRM/Sales Tools – Proper use of company’s selected application to maintain sales records, activity and accurate sales forecasting. Completes forms, tasks and sales reports as required by management.
?Communication – Consistent and effective internal/external communication. Keeps customers updated on company direction and product development. Relays customer feedback to the company for marketing and product enhancement consideration.

Requirements:
?Background in working with and navigating within Financial Services, FinTech, or related field sales, especially with Data, Cloud & Analytics solutions.
?Understanding your customer by seeing your world through their perspective, speaking their language, and articulating the voice of your customer to improve Altair’s solutions.
?Successful sales experience with a proven track record of overachievement selling complex solutions and non-tangible business value in competitive environment at the executive level .
?An understanding of how the financial services industry in the areas of credit risk, fraud, payments/collections & marketing
?experience in selling Data & Analytics solutions into large global banks as well as regional banks.
?Good understanding of Core banking platforms, Cloud Data Strategy, ETL Tools, Analytics platforms

Education and Work Experience
?Bachelor’s degree or above required.
?10+ years Enterprise Sales experience with demonstrable success selling complex Business Process Management, Business Intelligence, Visualization or Business Analytics software solutions.
?An understanding of industry trends and relevant business drivers.
?Candidates must demonstrate history of consistent sales quota achievement.
?Excellent knowledge of company’s products/services and pricing practices.
?Proven selling skills
?Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
?Highly motivated self starter
?Commercial & market awareness
?Both Direct and Channel Sales Experience preferred
?Business communication skill in Mandarin and English
